Providing a driving record (Nova Scotia)

As you are completing the onboarding steps in the Instacart Shopper app, you will be required to provide a copy of your clean driving record. Each province has slightly different steps to obtain a driving record, so make sure you’re selecting the province that issued your driver’s license.

Obtaining Your Driving Record from Nova Scotia

1. You may apply in person at one of the RMV Customer Services Centres
   
   Payment options at the counter: Cash, debit card, VISA, American Express or MasterCard credit card, or cheque (or money order) made out to the Registry of Motor Vehicles
   
   
2. Mail your request to:

   Payment options by mail: Cheque or money order made out to the Registry of Motor Vehicles. The fee for an abstract is $18.65

Registry of Motor Vehicles also provides Driver Abstract service for people living or traveling outside Nova Scotia.
