If you received a referral code from an Instacart shopper and want to make sure the shopper gets the bonus, you will need to apply the code on the first page of the sign-up process at shoppers.instacart.com (US) or shoppers.instacart.ca (Canada). For the shopper to receive the referral bonus, all the terms and conditions (found in the “Referring New Shoppers and Customers” article in the Shopper Help Center) must be met.
You cannot add the shopper’s code after you complete the sign-up process, and Instacart cannot add the shopper’s code retroactively. If you have not completed the sign-up process and would like to restart it completely so that you can apply the bonus code, use the link below to submit a request. Specify that you would like your original information removed. You will then be able to restart the process and add the referral code. Please keep in mind that availability of roles is not guaranteed.
